John Fishback Board Chair, I was born and raised in Orlando, attended WP High, and graduated from FSU. My wife Pat and I have been residents of WP for 35 yrs, we have 3 children and 2 dogs. Most of my early career was in the citrus and real estate business, and now only as a real estate investor. Pat and I have a long history with FPP since 1999, I was a member of the WP Parks and Recreation Board when FPP was designated as a dog park in 2001. Our golden retrievers Max and Brady, are known to most park goers as the "fishing dogs." Neil Frazee Past Chair, My family moved to WP in 1962, and as of today still own and manage the Mt.Vernon Inn. I graduated from WP High (the original High school was the current 9th grade center). I received an undergraduate degree from the Univ. of Tenn. and a Masters in Landscape Architecture from Louisiana St. Univ. in Baton Rouge. I moved back to WP in 1990. My wife and I own 2 English Pointers, Guinness and Rocky, and we have been supporters and members of FFPP for the last 5 years. I've worked actively to obtain approval of the Master Plan for the park and currently I am working to raise funds for the proposed improvements to ensure that FPP keeps the dog friendly park for all to enjoy. And it will take all of us to make this a reality. Sandy Womble Secretary-Treasurer, a 23 year resident of WP, and is probably best known for her citizen activism promoting parks and historic preservation. A native North Carolinian where historic architecture prevails, she actively supports the WP Historic Assoc. providing awareness and support to WP's cultural history. An owner of 4 dogs and 1 cat, Sandy is often seen walking her rescue puggle, Trouble-Boy-Bummer in downtown WP. Jessi Van Pelt Editor ‘Bark in the Park’, is a dedicated animal-lover who has been editing and producing the FFPP newsletter for the last 4 years, and on the FFPP Board for the past 2 yrs. She is a graphic designer, and a student at Rollins College evening school. She also volunteers regularly with Pet Rescue by Judy, and is an organizer of the Vegetarians of Central FL MeetUp group. You will see her at the Park every single weekend with Kynne the Dingo and friends. Be sure to say hi! Joe Brock Legal Advisor, a WP resident since 2000, an Attorney specializing in appellate practice, graduate of Harvard and University of FL College of Law. I enjoy meeting friends at FPP and go there often with my beautiful beagle Cindy. I have worked actively to keep the park free and dog friendly, and thank the Mayor and Commissioners for their recent votes. We must now do our part to take care of our beloved off-leash park, and to contribute and raise funds for the needed improvements. Carla Lubet Website coordinator/photographer, a WP resident for 31 years. Married, no children, Lots of animals. I'm excited to be part of the FFPP Board, and have enjoyed FPP for 8 yrs. I have Horses, Dogs, Cats and Chickens. I'm a big supporter of animal charity and rescue. I hope to meet many of you at the Park, as I am a bit of a camera nut and always have one with me. I'll be taking pictures and getting interviews for upcoming stories to be posted at the ffpp.org website. Check in often, and look for yourselves in the 'News & You'/ 'Photo&Video' bars. Glad to be on Board. Janice Cullity merchandise coordinator, In 1968 BD (Before Disney), I moved to the WP/Orl area with my family. I have been in real estate sales and investments for 22 years. I am an empty nester, my 2 children are adults and on their own...well almost, one moved back. I am currently dog-less, but I was blessed with 2 Goldens, my sweet Chloe who passed away 3 years ago at 13, and my Candy Baby who passed 6 months ago at a young 6 yrs of age...liver disease, we gave it a heck of a fight. I will eventually adopt again. For now I have a 10 year old cat and a 5 yr old dwarf bunny (daughter's college pet). My first visit to Fleet People's Park was (to quote my yoga instructor) "joyous"...so many happy happy dogs. I can't think of a better way to spend my spare time than making sure these happy happy dogs have this amazing park to run free and be the special creatures that they are.(8-10 Happy to announce.. Janice got a new dog!)
