Dog Wash
By now, you may well have noticed that the dog wash, one of the park’s most beloved and oft-used features is closed. Our hopes for the temporary gravel drain fix that we put in to stop the floods were, alas, washed away.
What to do? Well, our plan is to spend the funds to build the dog wash
properly with a connection to the sewer line that runs to the park’s bathrooms. For the moment, we are waiting for the City of Winter Park to
provide information on whether, and where, we can connect to the line.
After that, we will have to obtain design approval and permission from the
Parks & Recreation Department to commence the project.

UPDATE: We just finished building the new dog wash in the park. It cost $1,000 and has a wash bench and two hoses and nozzles.
